Hello!
My name is Runar. There are many reasons why I made this site. The essence of it was probably to have my own place to write and to create on my own terms.
I've always been interested in and found much joy technology. What started out with learning how to install widgets and hacked APKs on my phones back in early 2010s has over time evolved to me jailbreaking or modding all my own hardware with the noteable exception of a nintendo switch I don't trust myself to modchip.
This site is the latest entry in a long list of personal fuck-around-and-find-out projects I've launched. You can think of it as my personal resistance to a lock-in, surveillance based, social media culture if you want to :)
Okay. So. About me.
As mentioned earlier I'm Runar, 21 years old, and from Norway :)
I currently live in Brazil where I am on exchange working as a musician and educator (weekly notes posted here), and I'm doing a degree in musicology back in Norway. My main interest here in music in interaction with people and society - that is, the music as a whole instead of the music as the notes.
Besides my work and studies, I'm also really into technology (duh), especially Freedesktop/Linux and anything to do with jailbreaking or free software. Other than that some of my interests are video games, photography, volunteering, spending time in nature, and reading - the final one I spend way too little time on.
Some more, less important pointers include:

- I love Markdown and has been using it for practically all of my digital writing since 2021.
- I really enjoy playing nintendo games, which is really sad given that nintendo is nintendo ):
