[brazil, week 9] Busy as hell + my new desktop

This week has been busy as hell. I've had 3 concerts and traveled out of town to fix yet another part of my documents for my stay here, as well as changing part of my work at the conservatory. I'm soon done with a 3 day weekend due to dia dos trabalhadores and not left my apartment a single time. It's felt good to stay inside and nerd out a few days and just do... something else. All in all, it's been a good week though - my concerts have been successfull, and my first workshop was great. Tomorrow I start part of my new job playing in a musical theatre band, as well as finally taking a step out the ports of my apartment building again. It's been nice staying inside some time now, but it's also gonna be real nice to go outside and play some bass again :)

Oh, and here's my new desktop:

The desktop itself. It has a lavender-esque CDE-style bottom task bar. The top left corner has a CDE-style analog clock with picture of a capybara plushie beneath, and the bottom left corner displays the xkcd of the day. The top right corner has a sticky note that says 'hello!!!'

The same desktop with a settings app, file manager, and music player opened as well to showcase more of the CDE-styling

And the wallpaper by anubi:

A pixel art drawing of Konqi and Katie, the KDE mascots, sitting at the beach looking out. Katie wearing her pink dress while pointing forwards and smiling, while Konqi is looking with slight surprise towards where Katie points. The wallpaper is titled Looking towards the future
