About me

I’m runarcn (he/him), a music student and tech nerd. I currently live near Trondheim, Norway, and play both electric and upright bass. I also like to mess around with a variety of other instruments, where piano is the one I know the best.

I made this website as a hobby project to learn slightly more about web design, server hosting, and self hosting. I also happen to enjoy writing blogs every now and then, which I find is best done on my own premises and not on some other websites premises. Oh, and because I want to have a website, sort of like a weird flex.

If you find my blog interesting, you’re completely to share them! By that I don’t only mean links, but share the text or the photos elsewhere as well. You’re allowed to make verbatim copies of all my written works, as long as it’s for non-commercial purposes and that everyone else is allowed to do so as well. See the bottom of the page for more info.

I host a variety of different software on runarcn.no, though this isn’t accessible to the general public. Everything is hosted via Yunohost, and the VPS is hosted with Linode. As of right now, I’m only using free software on this site.

If you want to make a donation to support me, please take a look at my donation list of and donate to them instead. I have enough to get by as of right now, so your money is better spent there. Feel free to let me know if you do so though, as that would greatly motivate me!
